AAMC Discusses Physician Shortage

  • Guest Lecture by Dr. Clement & Dr. Gordon

On Friday, August 10, 2012 Dr. Richard Clement and Dr. Garry Gordon ( Gordon Research Institute, USA), selected XUSOM, Aruba to give special presentation to the Students and Faculty of Xavier University School of Medicine. Dr. Clement introduced an electronic Kit that provides a simple tool for clinicians to measure key vitals and is used for diagnosis, prevention and follow up of common disease conditions in a pragmatic way and in short time. He spoke passionately about early warning signs and about how in the future the device will be as small as a cell phone. This technology will enable patients to be able to take their own statistics and send them to their practitioner for advice and guidance. Next, Dr. Garry Gordon spoke about the effects of toxins on the body. The key points of his presentation dealt with repairing the body by removing these toxins through chelation and repairing the body by use of magnetic therapy. Both students and faculty are grateful when outside experts are able to provide the Xavier community with talks on the latest techniques and technology.
