Currently an Academic general internist in Detroit at Henry Ford Hospital working both in outpatient primary care and inpatient medicine. I graduated as valedictorian of my medical school in 2012 at Xavier University. I did my primary 3 year residency training at Rochester General Hospital and did a 4th year as a Chief Resident. Since residency I have practiced in academic medicine at Henry Ford Hospital. I absolutely love to teach my residents and medical students and take pride in taking care, educating, and making access to care available to the community and patients in the inner city of Detroit.
On July 17th, 2020, the New York Board of Regents voted to approve Xavier University School of Medicine Aruba to place students in long-term clinical clerkship in New York State for 7 years. This is the longest term of approval that can be given to an International Medical School.
