⚽ 🩺 Pediatric Health Fair & Play Day! 💙 👧 🧒
The Pediatric Medicine Group of Xavier University School of Medicine hosted a fun and educational Pediatric Health Fair and Play Day with the San Luis Deportivo team! 🌟
The day included interactive stations on dental hygiene and nutrition education, followed by health checks for blood pressure, height, weight, BMI, and eyesight. After learning about healthy habits, the kids — ages 7 to 14 — jumped right into soccer drills, relay races, and play stations run by our students. ⚽ 💪
This hands-on event helped connect the importance of exercise, health, and hygiene in a fun, kid-friendly way. 🧼 🥗
We can’t wait to collaborate again in the coming semesters! 💫

For the third year in a row, Xavier University School of Veterinary Medicine proudly welcomed Rosario College to celebrate National Animal Day, officially observed on October 4th.
Veterinary students prepared a full day of interactive and educational activities for the visiting children. The program began with a lively presentation about Aruba’s local animals, highlighting important differences between species, safe practices for feeding, and what to do when pets become sick. To make learning extra fun, the students also created a Jeopardy-style quiz where the children could test their new knowledge in a friendly competition.
The day continued with hands-on learning experiences. Students had the chance to explore real specimens and participate in a special session led by Dr. Klaudia, who delivered an engaging presentation about flamingos—one of Aruba’s most iconic animals. She also guided the children through a show-and-tell activity where they practiced listening to a dog’s heartbeat and learned how to properly wrap a cat’s paw in a bandage.
Rosario College brought along two classes—Grade 4A and Grade 4B—with a total of 48 enthusiastic students. Their curiosity, excitement, and willingness to learn made the event especially rewarding for Xavier’s veterinary students and faculty.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Ms. Bivienka, whose continued dedication in reaching out to Xavier University each year helps make this collaboration such a success.
Together, Xavier University and Rosario College once again celebrated the importance of caring for animals while inspiring the next generation to love and respect them.
