About Me
Dr. Kunkov graduated with his Medical Degree from the Pediatric Medical Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. He then went on to complete his pediatric residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in 1999. He pursued his interest in pediatric emergency medicine, and in 2002 completed his pediatric EM fellowship at Jacobi Medical Center- Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In 2005 he graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with his MS Degree in Clinical Research Methods. Since 2010 he has been the Director of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Department at Stony Brook University.
