About Me
Dr. Pomerantz is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and did his residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He subsequently did his fellowship training in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Prior to assuming his current position at St. Agnes, Dr. Pomerantz was Professor of Medicine at the University Of Rochester School of Medicine, where he was also Clinical Chief of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiology Fellowship training program at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. Dr. Pomerantz has been actively involved in medical education at the pre- and post-graduate level for almost 25 years while also holding various leadership roles at his hospitals and in organized medicine as past President of both the New York State Chapter and a member of the Board of Governors of the American College of Cardiology.
