Dr. Arun Kumar Dubey is a Physician, Clinical Pharmacologist, and an administrator by training. After completing M.B.B.S. degree from Guwahati Medical College in India, Dr. Dubey completed three years Residency in Clinical Pharmacology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). For the past 15 years, he has been involved in teaching Clinical Pharmacology to medical students in India and abroad. Dr. Dubey has also been involved in key administrative roles at different levels in medical schools for the past 10 years. Dr. Dubey joined Xavier University School of Medicine, Aruba in August 2008 and went on to become Dean of Student Affairs and then Dean of Basic Sciences in 2010. Dr. Dubey’s principal role is providing leadership in all aspects of Medical Education in Basic Sciences at XUSOM, Aruba. Dr. Dubey takes keen interest in recent developments and challenges in Medical Education and has been instrumental in taking the leadership to implement an integrated Organ System-Based Curriculum at XUSOM, Aruba. His main area of research includes different aspects of Medical education and “Ginkgo biloba”. He has published more than 60 research articles in indexed journals.
