MD6 Scholarship
A scholarship for students who are transferring into Xavier for the MD-6 semester
Part of Xavier University School of Medicine’s mission is to make medical education affordable.
Total Scholarship Value: up to $4,000
MD6 Scholarship Criteria
- Student must be transferring from another medical school into Xavier for the MD6 semester
- Student must submit their official transcript from the previous medical school attended and official NBME scores.
- Student must have a minimum transfer GPA of 3.0.
- Student must be a United States or Canadian citizen.
Please note: All prospective students must be accepted prior to applying for a Scholarship.

To maintain the MD6 scholarship:
- Student must have continuous enrollment. There should be no interruptions or discontinuation in studies.
- Student must not receive any disciplinary actions while a student of Xavier.
- Student must maintain satisfactory academic progression at the discretion of Chief Academic Officer.
Scholarships may be rescinded if terms are not met, and the student will be responsible for full tuition. Awards are disbursed in the Student Management System as a credit toward your tuition. Scholarship offers are at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee, and the committee reserves the right to approve or deny a student for any reason.
